About the Author

Sherri Breaton was born and raised in the automotive capital of Canada. As the daughter of a car buff father she quickly developed a love for sports cars and going fast. Whether as a kid watching races at Checker Flag (the local track) or attending the Detroit Grand Prix she knew she loved the roar of the engines. In the mid 90's she was introduced to NASCAR and she's been an avid fan every since. Don't let the fact that she is female fool you (Danica anyone?); on any given Sunday you will find her yelling at her television and cheering on her favourite driver, 5x Champ Jimmie Johnson. Some of her most memorable NASCAR moments to date are watching her driver take the checkered flag in Las Vegas, and visiting/touring Hendrick Motor Sports facilities in North Carolina.
